Census Bureau: More women than men in Britton in 2017


Of the 1,687 people living in Britton in 2017, 54.2 percent (915) were women and 45.8 percent (772) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Dakota Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 472-to-434. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 237 females and 106 males.
