Sinte Gleska University enrolls 512 undergrads


At Sinte Gleska University, 62 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 71 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Mission enrolled 581 students in fall 2017, including 512 in undergraduate and 69 in graduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Dakota, and 2 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native (94 percent) and white (6 percent).
