South Dakota students paid $5,264 to attend the two-year public institution this year $188 more than the $5,076 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 412 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.62 million and 597 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.91 million.
Including all undergraduates, 1,134 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.08 million. Another 1,391 took out $8.36 million in federal student loans.
